Was the husband of Ann nee Grady and had been born in Streamstown County Mayo in 1875. He had been living with his family in Waddicar Lane Melling and was employed by a local pottery. He died on 31st July 1917 aged 42 years and is buried in WYTSCHAETE MILITARY CEMETERY. His name is honoured on the memorial in St Thomas’s Church Melling.
