The following was recorded in the Liverpool Echo-3rd-Sept-1917 ROBINSON-August 18th, through sinking of merchant fleet auxiliary, second officer Joseph Lonsdale Robinson, the dearly-beloved husband of May Robinson, of 42 Caldy Road Aintree. He was buried on September 2nd 1917 at Monknash Church, Marcross. As the ship sank as a result of a collision at sea he does not have CWGC status.
