Was the husband of Esther Owen (nee Green) of Church Lane Kirkby. He was born in Melling and in 1901 his mother by then a widow was the inn keeper of the Pear Tree Melling and Peter a stone mason. He married in 1911. He died 20th March 1917 and was 35 years of age. He is listed as died at sea and is buried in PLYMOUTH EFFORD CEMETERY, Plymouth.
